Professor Vivek Mehta FRCA MD FFPMRCA

Professor Vivek Mehta is a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Neuromodulation at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. He is the Director of Pain Research Centre (PaRC), elected Board Member for the Faculty of Pain Medicine and Chair of the Faculty of Pain Medicine Examination (FFPMRCA) At The Royal College Of Anesthesia London. He is the President Elect for National Neuromodulation Society UK and Ireland and will assume his Presidency tenure in 2026. He specialises in a wide range of pain conditions including back pain, sciatica, post spinal surgery pain, neuropathic pain, migraine, cluster headache, coccydynia, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) and fibromyalgia.

He has published over 70 papers, authored several textbooks and delivered more than 200 lectures.

For his services he was awarded National Consultant Bronze award in 2021.
